Olga Klimova

Olga KlimovaOlga Klimova, Ph.D., is a Lecturer and a Director of the Russian Program in The Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Pittsburgh, where she teaches Russian language, literature, and culture courses.  Her articles, encyclopedia entries, and film reviews have appeared in The Soviet and PostSoviet ReviewKinokulturaSEEJ, and other academic publications.  Her academic interests include visual and popular culture of the late-Soviet and post-Soviet periods, censorship in culture, representations of Chernobyl, Belarus and Kazakh cinema, protest art, as well as instructional technology and online teaching and learning.
